Knab insurance app

Problem & challenge

In the Netherlands, people have lots of different types of private insurance, such as health, liability, car, household and more. Our research found that users wanted a digital platform where they could easily store all the basic information they needed related to each insurance package.

I was tasked with creating a dashboard within the Knab app, to allow users to easily add and view all of their insurances in one place.

Approach & method 

• With the project stakeholders, I mapped out what we thought the ideal user journey would be. Going from within the Knab app, to the dashboard, to successfully adding an insurance policy

• Created initial wireframes and then designs in Sketch

• Prototyped and user tested the flow, with an emphasis on usability and ease of use

• Refined designs based on user feedback

• Created final pixel perfect designs and handed off to development team

• Worked with developers in refinement sessions to write user stories

• Planned dashboard creation in Google Analytics to look at data collection on use of dashboard
